Join the Chippewas of Saugeen First Nation for their Annual Competition Powwow, a weekend celebrating Indigenous culture, community, and tradition. Visitors are welcome to experience powerful drumming, vibrant dance competitions, community specials, Indigenous vendors, and fellowship throughout the weekend.

Dance Competitions

Competition categories include:

• Golden Age Men (55+)
• Golden Age Women (55+)
• Men’s (18+)
• Women’s (18+)
• Teen Boys (13–17)
• Teen Girls (13–17)
• Junior Boys (6–12)
• Junior Girls (6–12)

Competition styles include Traditional, Grass, Fancy, Woodland, and Jingle (where applicable), with prize money awarded in each division.
